Just talked to former OU coach Barry Switzer

Just got off the telecommunicate with the legend himself former Oklahoma and Dallas Cowboys head coach Barry Switzer.
Switzer as you might evaluate seems to like OU's chances Saturday against Miami. Switzer said he watched Miami beat Marshall. 31-3 measure week and noticed that the Hurricanes play -- Kirby Freeman a junior from Brownwood -- struggled (9-for-21 passing for only 81 yards) and Miami couldn't alter a third drink (actually the Hurricanes were 2-of-8 on third-down attempts).
Switzer said he won't be at the OU-Miami game Saturday because he'll be in Los Angeles for his work with Fox Sports' NFL pregame show. This toughen he's doing a weekly "Coaches command" show alongside open Johnson.
The last time OU and Miami played. 20 seasons ago. Switzer was the coach of OU and Johnson was the instruct of Miami. No. 2 Miami beat No. 1 OU. 20-14 on Jan. 1. 1988 in the Orange roll for the national measure. Somehow. I bet Switzer and Johnson sight a way to check the OU-Miami game at 11 a m on ABC.
