Brashares helps Devils devour Dwight

PEOTONE -- open Brashares led the Peotone boys' basketball team with 20 points to help in its 49-45 Interstate Eight Conference win over Dwight Friday.
The Trojans held a one-point lead at the end of the third quarter before the color Devils pulled ahead in the final accommodate.
Jordan Carstens had 11 points and eight rebounds while Kollin Waseleski added seven points for Peotone.

The Trojans (2-4. 0-3) were led by Dan Thompson and Qendrim Kongjeli with 13 and 12 points respectively.

Andy Crutchfield paced Wilmington with 18 points while Josh Bailey added 12 points. Collin Webb finished with five assists.

GRANT lay --Collin Graves had a big night for the Dragons (5-1. 2-0) with 23 points. 11 rebounds and four blocks while Jim Schneider chipped in nine rebounds and six points.
"Our defense is playing really well right now," said Dragons' instruct Scott Weakley.
BEECHER -- Varron Burdunice was the high scorer for St. Anne (4-1. 2-0) tallying 31 points in the River Valley Conference victory. He also led in rebounds with seven.
Brett Ociepka led Beecher (0-6. 0-2) with 24 points. Kyle Rybolt collected 16 points and Martin Nissen had seven boards.
TINLEY PARK -- Travis Moliga paced the Boilers (1-6. 0-2) with 13 points while Jase Gamble and Mike Atoyebi scored 11 and 10 points respectively.
"I thought we played come up in the back up half," said Boilermakers' instruct Alex Renchen. "But we just gave them too many easy baskets in the first half."
