That’s a danger for the nation’s economy and it’s a tragedy for our citizens.”As a result she said that the foundation’s work in education would focus on “not just college enrollment but college completion.” The foundation plans two major efforts in the years ahead she noted. The district and its colleges should immediately and persistently take steps to insure that the governing board limit itself to appropriate policy-setting roles..[and] assess the leadership issues at IVC and take appropriate measures...." FACT: In 1997 despite lacking any full-time administrative experience.
