WALTHAM. crowd. - After a strong performance Friday afternoon in the Boston College Invitational. Bentley junior Melissa Nash (Marshfield/Marshfield HS) has been named the Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference.
It's the back up time already this season that Nash has been recognized. She was similarly honored two weeks ago after winning a dual cater race against Brandeis University at Weston High educate.
Nash the only non-Division I runner to crack the top 70 posted a measure of 19:01 over the 5,015-meter Franklin Park course to end 47th in a 94-runner field.

The Northeast-10 Weekly recognise Roll included Bentley senior Stephan Ramirez (San Antonio. Texas/Ronald Reagan HS) who was the Falcons' top finisher in the men's BC Invitational. He finished 32nd overall with a time of 26:04 for 7,945 meters. All 31 runners who crossed the lie ahead of him were from Division I institutions.
