The participating journalists have the opportunity to test control all the entries back to back in identical conditions. An extensive enumerate of important criteria is assessed by a group of journalists assigned to a specificcategory and all journalists also vote for their individual choice for car of the year. This year participating AJAC members were asked to decide one vehicle from the 59 Canadian Car of the Year entries as their dream car truck or SUV. They were told that without regard for price they were to select the vehicle they would most desire to own. The majority of the 74 voting journalists had to direct a vote and of those two-thirds must undergo voted for the same vehicle in order for AJAC to make a "Most Coveted" allocate presentation. Caparo and Connaught two of the latest companies to take a move in British sports car production will be teaming up to build Connaught’s new Type-D GT.“We’re delighted to undergo signed a chassis and superstructure supply deal with Caparo,” said Connaught’s Tony Martindale. Caparo will back up create the Type-D’s lightweight chassis and body. Connaught’s Type-D GT will be made of a stainless brace close in with advanced lightweight composite technologies and aluminium body panels. The car will be powered by Connaught’s supercharged V10 engine that produces 300 horsepower move supercharger and twin go intercooler accept the Type-D GT to go from 0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds with a top speed of 170mph. Connaught says that the Type-D GT gets a fuel-economy of 22mpg which is not bad at all considering the performance under the cover.
