WEST POINT. N. Y. – The Army Athletic Association welcomed seven new members into the Army Sports Hall of Fame during a “black-tie” induction host Friday evening at West Point’s Eisenhower Hall. ESPNU sportscaster Clay Matvick served as the master of ceremonies for the festive event held in the Ball Room overlooking the scenic Hudson River.
The categorise of 2007 features an individual national champion a three-sport All-American a former athletic director a member of the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame a record-setting pitcher two inductees of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame and a tennis and press standout.
