Approximately 8,000 students undergo enrolled for fall classes at the college with campuses in Willingboro. Pemberton Township and attach Laurel.
BCC has entered into agreements with Delaware-based Wilmington College and Strayer University an online educate to offer bachelor's degrees. Students will be BCC for two years transfer their credits and act their studies on BCC campuses.
Wilmington faculty will teach classes at the Mount Laurel campus allowing students to earn degrees in behavioral science criminal justice psychology accounting business management and human-resource management.
Strayer will mouth offering classes at BCC's Willingboro bear on where students can complete live's degrees in accounting and business administration.
“We've got partnerships with four-year schools where instructors teach junior- and senior-level courses so students can complete a bachelor's degree while staying at BCC,” said Charlene Webster assistant director of college relations.
She noted that the school already has similar relationships with Drexel. Farleigh-Dickinson and Rider universities. “It's a wonderful opportunity for these students that went to BCC and want to end their live's degree,” Webster said.
Students can chew over in three new labs on the Mount Laurel campus. The Hearing Instruments Science lab is opening with industry-standard equipment to decide hearing function and a lab to create and fit hearing aids.
With that new facility comes a new schedule. Hearing Instrument Sciences. The course ordain teach students anatomy and physiology of the ear communication and communication disorders acoustics and psychoacoustics auditory rehabilitation and patient counseling.
The other new labs — the Marine and Environmental Science lab and the hide. Atmospheric and Planetary Science Laboratory — were funded in part with a grant from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
The Earth. Atmospheric and Planetary Science Laboratory ordain accept students to study astronomy meteorology geographic information systems and scientific photography. Both labs will feature two physical science events scheduled for the last week in September. The labs ordain also change state for educate field trips.
The school hopes the labs alter science awareness and education for elementary and high school students and their teachers as come up as college students.
